Manage Categories
On
this screen, you can edit the categories of the Member Exit Survey. These
categories are also displayed in the dropdown menu under “Survey Instructions”
on the Manage
Member Exit Survey screen
and on the Add/Edit
Member Exit Survey Question
screen.
List
of Categories
- Categories
–
The name of the category is listed here. Clicking this text will open
the Add/Edit Category Section on the bottom of the screen (see below).
- Active
–
This checkbox indicates whether or not the category is active and
therefore visible to members. If a category is activated or inactivated,
the action applies to all the questions in that category.
- Seq
# - The sequence
number assigned to this category. You can change this number in the
Add/Edit Category Section (see below).
- Page
Numbers –
The “From” and “To”
columns indicate the page range for this category. You can change
this number in the Add/Edit Category Section (see below).
- edit
–
Click this link to open the Add/Edit Category Section. You can also
navigate to this screen by clicking this link under the “Categories”
column heading.
- delete
–
Click this link to delete a category. Once a category is published,
it cannot be deleted, though it can be inactivated.
- Add
Category –
Click this button to add a new category.
- Back
–
Click this button to navigate to the Manage
Member Exit Survey
main screen.
Add/Edit
Category Section
- Category
–
Type or edit the category name in this text field (250 character limit).
- Note:
In order to edit a category name and have this change apply to
the Member Portal, the “Save” button must also be clicked on the
Manage Member Exit Survey screen. This will trigger the display
of the “Publish” button. Otherwise, any edits to a category name
will only appear in the dropdown menus in the Staff Portal (on
the Manage Member Exit Survey screen and Add/Edit Member Exit
Survey Question screen).
- Active
–
This checkbox indicates whether or not the category is active. When
a new category is created, it is active by default. If a category
is activated or inactivated, the action applies to all the questions
in that category.
- Seq
# - The sequence
number assigned to this category (four digit limit). Gaps between
sequence numbers are permitted.
- Page
Numbers –
The “From” and “To”
columns indicate the page range for this category (two digit limit).
Categories can begin and end on the same page. Category beginning/ending
pages can also overlap if they are in sequence. However, gaps in between
pages are not permitted.
- Save
–
Click this button at the bottom of the screen to save any changes
to the category.
- Note:
In order to confirm changes and trigger the display of the “Publish”
button, the “Save” button must also be clicked on the Manage
Member Exit Survey
screen.
- Cancel – Click this button
at the bottom of the screen to cancel any changes to the category.
