What happens if I fail to complete and return my clearance forms on time?

If your clearance forms are not returned by the 10 business day deadline, you may face disqualification from service. If you have missed or know you are going to miss this deadline, you should immediately contact the My AmeriCorps hotline at 1-800-942-2677 or send an e-mail to ANCCC@cns.gov with your reason for missing the deadline. You may or may not be granted an extension to successfully complete the required forms, depending on the circumstances.
