Each Team Leader will enter hours for each member by day under the following time log categories:
Direct Service Hours: The hours a member spent "directly" serving the community (Not including the NCCC community). These hours count towards the goal of 1700 hours.
Training Hours: The hours spent in training and preparation for service to the community. This includes AmeriCorps member Training Institute and other campus organized training. On the job training counts as direct service. These hours count towards the goal of 1700 hours, but it may not compromise more than 20% of the total service hours, for a maximum of 340 hours.
Independent Service Project (ISP): The hours spent doing Independent Service. This may only be earned in service that is arranged by the member, with the approval from campus. These hours count towards the 80 ISP hours required and the 1700 hour goal.
Other:
Sick Leave: The time spent on sick leave. Does not earn hours, but the member continues to receive pay.
Personal Leave: The time spent on personal leave. Does not earn hours, but the member continues to receive pay. Maximum three personal days per term of service.
Life After AmeriCorps (LAA): The time spent conducting campus approved LAA activities. Does not earn hours, but the member continues to receive pay. Maximum two LAA days per term of service.
Emergency Leave: Time spent on campus approved emergency leave. Does not earn hours, and only earn pay for up to seven days. Absences beyond seven days are classified as Administrative Leave.
Administrative Leave: This is emergency leave exceeding seven days. Does not earn hours or pay. This must be approved by Regional Director.
Medical Hold: This is for members who are unable to serve for a period between 10 and 30 days. This status earns no hours, but the member continues to receive pay. This must be approved by Regional Director.
AWOL: The time spent away without official leave. Does not earn hours or pay. AWOL above seven days is subject to dismissal in absentia.
Suspension: This is time spent in disciplinary suspension. Does not earn hours or pay.
Both members and Team Leaders will be able to view their time once it is entered. Members will not be able to enter or edit their time. If you are a member and there is a problem with you time, please make sure to speak to you Team Leader.
