What if I do not have a bank account?

If you do not have a bank account, you can explore other options such as “Prepaid Card Services.”

 

For AmeriCorps VISTA Only - If receiving living allowance payments electronically will cause undue hardship, you may waive direct deposit to receive a paper check mailed to your current mailing address. If you are no longer in service, your paper check will be mailed to your permanent address.   To waive direct deposit, do the following:

   1.  Click Edit Account Information

   2.  Click Waive direct deposit

   3.  Confirm that the Current Address is correct

   4.  Type a *Reason for waiving direct deposit

   5.  Click submit
