Motivational Statement:
I am hoping to work as in the AmeriCorps Community Technology Empowerment Project member for a September 30, 2021 start date. As you can see from my resume, I am a U.S. citizen and hold my Masters from the Monterey Institute of International Studies (now Middlebury College). Most recently, I worked overseas in France as a math tutor for middle and High School students. I also worked as an ESL instructor and tutor for beginner, intermediate and advanced level students of different ages, goals and backgrounds. Evidence of my skills can be seen in my responsibilities and are demonstrated in my past experience and commitment to my academics. In addition to teaching experience, I have worked or served in other roles that require service and compassion in several areas of the world, which would be an asset for an AmeriCorps member. I am interested in becoming an AmeriCorps CTEP Volunteer, because I enjoy working with learners to help them advance in their personal and professional development goals. I hope also to be able to strengthen my skills to become a better educator.
