Why Do I Volunteer:
	Over the summer, I participated in a community outreach event for one of my mentors at the Jas house. The event was for the company Alpha Mentoring LLC. During this event, I helped set up outside games and entertain the kids, as well as helped set up the dining area. I serve to give back to people who so kindly gave to me. I aged out of the foster system this past year and ever since I have been trying to give back to my community in any way I can. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am because words would not do it enough justice. It warms my heart and fulfills me within. It makes me happy to see kids, smile and play joyfully because not every kid gets to experience that in their childhood. It is a beautiful thing to witness and be a part of, truly.
