Member Duties : Research, plan, and coordinate a grassroots, community-led, culturally sensitive bicycling encouragement initiative that responds to people's real needs for safe and affordable daily transportation that will help break the cycle of poverty. Ladders of opportunity: Help people living in poverty utilize bicycles to improve their affordable access to reaching jobs, education, other daily needs, and community services and amenities. Prepare the Austin Transportation Department and their community partnerships for the conclusion of the VISTA project.
