NYC Department for the Aging VISTA Summer Associate 10

New York City is home to approximately 1.64 million older adults, and the Department for the Aging (DFTA) is committed to helping them age in their homes and communities. Our mission is to eliminate ageism and ensure the dignity and quality of life of diverse older adults. During the COVID-19 crisis, older adults who were homebound before the outbreak AND older adults who are homebound now due to the outbreak may experience increased difficulty addressing vital needs. DFTA is leading a coordinated effort to conduct wellness checks and connect older adults to the vital services that they may need now. If you are a data-focused individual and/or project manager who is interested in the development and implementation of a new initiative, then this role is the right fit for you! NOTE: This is a teleservice position. The VISTA Summer Associate will need to have access to a desktop or laptop computer and cellphone to perform their assignments.
