Database Coordinator and Community Partner Tracker VISTA
 
 
 
Catholic Charities of Louisville has programs for expecting moms, immigrants/refugees, residents in long-term care facilities, farmers, culinary students and our most impoverished neighborhoods. The Development/Communication department’s role is to get our mission and stories out to community partners, volunteers, media, clients, and donors to raise awareness of our programs, the needs of the community and to raise funds to help those in need and keep programs functioning. The VISTA will play a key role in making sure we are reaching the right people at the right time and tracking involvement with our partners. This role requires attention to detail, oversight of clean up and ensure accurate data entry to ensure we are utilizing resources as best we can. Managing a database requires working with multiple departments to pull vast amounts of information into one place and be able to evaluate it through reports to staff to increase engagement and sustainability in the community.

Member Duties : VISTA will be in charge of knowing the donor database (Little Green Light) inside and out. It will take self-learning and ability to teach staff all the facets of the database. The VISTA will build capacity around the daily usage, management and analytics of the database. Data will need to be accurately assessed and input is critical to how the Development Department will use the data. The VISTA will also build a user-friendly Parish Tracker to identify engagement. Both platforms will be used to inform our community through communication channels about our clients’ successes and ways to get involved to help those in need in our community. Building awareness about our programs to the right audience is crucial to funding our programs that are working to create self-sufficiency for our neighbors.
