GSCM Harfor County Community Troop Project
This special troop formation initiative seeks to match girls from disadvantaged and underserved communities in Aberdeen and Joppatowne, both along the Route 40/I95 corridor. Through identified adult role models and leaders the VISTA member will develop opportunities for fun with a purpose at troop meetings, field trips and program events, and inspire young women to imagine and chart a new path for a bright successful future. These two communities present great challenges and opportunities as the needs assessment demonstrates.
