Filled - Digital Strategy Leader
 
 
 
Hands On Nashville’s Digital Strategy Leader will use critical and analytical skills to evaluate the overall performance and user experience across HON’s digital channels, report out on opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with agency leaders on strategies for improving SEO, mobile web experience, social engagement, and more. The leader will research, recommend, and implement techniques and processes to improve email newsletter subscription, open, and click rates; social media engagement; and website functionality. The ideal candidate will be energized by problem solving and has experience using social media platforms, email marketing platforms, and digital analytics tools. Knowledge of SEO and paid social media advertising best practices is a plus. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a desire to learn, the ability to thrive in team environments, as well as carry out tasks independently. The Leader participates in a yearlong term - 1,700 hours- of AmeriCorps service supporting HON’s mission to meet community needs through volunteerism.

Member Duties : - Performs an in-depth audit of HON’s digital communication channels, platforms, and user experiences and reports on findings - Collaborates with Director of Communications and Community Relations Coordinator on strategies for optimizing content and improving user experience and engagement across digital channels - Engages with Community Partner Program team to optimize performance of individual project posts on hon.org with the ultimate goal of filling every available volunteer slot - Spearheads strategies for improving hon.org and blog SEO, paid social media strategy, website experience (mobile and desktop), and more - Tracks website, social media, and email newsletter engagement using analytics tools and prepares monthly reports - Conducts research and delivers recommendations for process improvement - Represents HON to community partners and volunteers to build and maintain relationships
