2020 MOST Program Innovation & Quality
The VISTA project will work to build capacity for two MOST projects Career and College Readiness (CCR) Professional Learning Community and the Million Girls Moonshot (MGM) STEM initiative. These projects are both focused on increasing out-of-school time program capacity and quality to implement career and college readiness and STEM learning (as connected to career and college readiness). These projects also foster innovation and new approaches in the field. The CCR project includes promoting a newly developed Tool-Kit on Career and College Readiness and facilitating a school-year long train the trainer Professional Learning Community with 10 organizations. The Million Girls Moonshot project is designed to increase access to STEM learning with an emphasis on young women by increasing the number of connections with Women STEM focused MENTORs and creating a portal that share STEM learning opportunities designed to engage young women and other students underrepresented in STEM careers.
