UCAP YouthCAP Program Development
Youth CAP Nutrition on Wheels Summer Youth Program -Youth CAP The YouthCAP program will provide Prince George’s County senior residents access to fresh food. Our goal is to increase the range of support services available for those that are elderly and possibly frail. We want to intentionally enhance the system of resources through a more intensive, coordinated social service delivery centralized at a multi-service one-stop center, UCAP, for older, frailer seniors. The summer youth will shop at local farmers markets, use fresh vegetables from our weekly drop off or pick up from Trader Joe’s, Wegmans and local farmers who have access to foodthey could not sell at one of the local farmers markets in our surrounding area.
