YES Youth Empowerment Services in Anaconda, MT aims to provide a safe, constructive, and wholesome environment for youth by offering activities, programs, and mentoring services to develop life skills, work skills, and interpersonal relationship skills. Anaconda schools experience a high dropout rate, and many students lack professional and work skills for lifelong success. This places young people in challenging situations and puts pressure on local business, who have difficulty locating qualified employees. Through fun programming that instructing youth ages 5-18 in work skills, life skills, and artistic expression, the organization hopes to prepare future generations for successful and fulfilling lives.

Member Duties : Help to alleviate summer learning loss by providing mentorship related to academic success, interpersonal growth, and life skills support for youth 5-18 years old. Provide healthy summer recreation activities for youth ages 5-18. Engage youth in community service projects, such as community gardening and community clean up. Alleviate summer hunger by providing nutritious weekday meals to youths. Utilize the Montana Career Lab to inspire interest in STEM fields and assist with facilitating regular career awareness programming.
