'20-'21 Mental Health VISTA- GCBH VISTA- UHoM
 
 
 
Are you ready to fight poverty and provide increased access to services related to mental health in Upstate South Carolina? In the fourth year of the Greenville County Behavioral Health (GCBH) VISTA program, the Mental Health VISTA will serve at the Unity Health on Main in downtown Greenville. The clinic serves thousands each year who are experiencing poverty who need behavioral health services. The VISTA will assist with grant-writing/development, data tracking, marketing, and building relationships in the community. Greenville, South Carolina continues to receive national and international recognition for its southern charm, opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, arts scene, sports culture, and cuisine. Greenville has been lauded by The New York Times as one of the 52 cities in the world to visit, by USA Today as one of the 10 best emerging destinations, and as one of America’s ten best downtowns for its combination of revitalized commercial and park space. Greenville is located at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains. This position is eligible for a gym membership to a specific local facility and a housing stipend to be paid directly to the landlord.

Member Duties : This VISTA will serve at Unity Health on Main. This person will pursue and tracking funding opportunities, assist with marketing and social media, and outreach. This position will review current tracking system for referrals for counseling. Strong Spanish skills are strongly preferred
