'20-'21 Volunteer Systems VISTA- GCBH VISTA- JR
 
 
 
Are you ready to fight poverty and help provide increased access to services related to mental health in Upstate South Carolina? In the fourth year of the Greenville County Behavioral Health (GCBH) VISTA program, the Volunteer Systems VISTA will work at the faith-based non-profit Jasmine Road. This individual will strengthen and create sustainable systems for volunteer recruitment and management, so tha victims of the human trafficking industry have the behavioral health services they need. Greenville, South Carolina continues to receive national and international recognition for its southern charm, opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, arts scene, sports culture, and cuisine. Greenville has been lauded by The New York Times as one of the 52 cities in the world to visit, by USA Today as one of the 10 best emerging destinations, and as one of America’s ten best downtowns for its combination of revitalized commercial and park space. Greenville is located at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains. This position is eligible for a gym membership to a specific local facility and a housing stipend to be paid directly to the landlord.

Member Duties : The Volunteer Systems VISTA at Jasmine Road will document all volunteer related processes and ensure they are thoroughly being utilized. The person in this position will develop and strengthen systems so that all volunteers are best recruited, trained and developed. This person will build relationships within the community to provide increase awareness of volunteer opportunities.
