Roseville Area Schools - Strategic Planning Specialist VISTA
One of the most important decisions a family makes is deciding where to send their children to school. Some families select a school based on family tradition, personal beliefs, or nearness to their home or work. For others, the decision involves visiting schools, talking to other families, and evaluating school programs. With the many educational alternatives available today, I encourage you and your family to take the opportunity to thoroughly explore the learning options offered by Roseville Area Schools. You will find strong educational programs; a talented, caring staff; and a shared vision of excellence. In partnership with the Minnesota Humanities Center, the Strategic Planning Specialist VISTA will develop a strategic 3-year professional learning plan centered around racial equity for all Roseville Area Schools’ staff, with the ultimate goal of decreasing educational inequities faced by students of color in Roseville Area Schools. **This position is part of the Minnesota Alliance With Youth Cohort. This cohort provides a learning community of 20 fellow VISTA members service projects geared toward educational equity. We provide monthly+ professional development training and additional support throughout the year.
