Member Duties : Be a productive member of an up to eight person crew that performs removal of invasive weeds and vegetation (primarily Knotweed) by manual and/or mechanical means from county owned infrastructure such as but not limited to, river banks, river levees, river revetments, creeks, regional ditches and ponds, and floodplain properties, and, when required perform soil and substrate preparation and planting of designed and appropriate native planting regimes in-place of the removed invasive species.
Ability to use various hand tools and small electric and gas-powered tools. Ability to lift 50 lbs., ability to traverse steep and uneven terrain, ability to communicate effectively and ability to learn new skills and techniques.
