Edmonds College: STEM & ACE Program Coordinator (Year 2)

The Access, Community, and Equity (ACE) Program in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) is an initiative of the Edmonds Community College (CC) Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement (Visit MESA at https://students.edcc.edu/mesa/default.html) program that aims to identify barriers underrepresented, low income, and first-generation college students are encountering at Edmonds Community College. The goal of ACE is to develop programming and partnerships that will implement long term sustainable change to increase the numbers of underrepresented, low income, and first-generation college students pursuing and earning STEM degrees at Edmonds CC. The VISTA member joins the statewide Washington Campus Compact (WACC) VISTA team whose members increase the capacity of campus-community partnerships by leveraging campus resources and community assets to address critical issues of educational access and success, mental health and food security. Washington Campus Compact is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in our national service programs. People of color, LGBTQ individuals, persons with disabilities, and veterans are encouraged to apply. **Strong preference for applicants who are bilingual in Spanish/English.**
