The VISTA member will coordinate campus and community resources with the goal of decreasing the number of hungry and food-insecure low-income students and their families attending Grays Harbor College, while also working to facilitate a decrease in community-wide food insecurity. This year, the VISTA member will work with Coastal Harvest and the campus human resources office primarily to ensure safe and equitable distribution of needed food items. The VISTA member joins the statewide (WACC) VISTA team whose members increase the capacity of campus-community partnerships by leveraging campus resources and community assets to address critical issues of educational access and success, mental health and food security. Washington Campus Compact is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in our national service programs. People of color, LGBTQ individuals, persons with disabilities, and veterans are encouraged to apply. **Strong preference for applicants who are bilingual in Spanish/English.**
