AARP Foundation Experience Corps – Bay Area provides a higher quality of literacy services, particularly for individuals living in poverty. VISTAs play a critical role in expanding program capacity to recruit and support more senior volunteers, increasing the number of volunteer tutors at schools in critical need.

Member Duties : Review and assess current ECBA Volunteer Program. Identify strengths and challenges of the current program and recruitment structure. Based on analysis, meet with ECBA Management team and develop an improvement plan that includes strategies and Process. Streamline systems for ECBA Program Identify areas that focus on seniors 5. Update volunteer descriptions and volunteer registration packets. Develop partnerships with community Organizations and living communities that service the senior population. Develop partnerships and relationships that understand the ECBA program and the commitment to serve children in literacy and intergenerational Programs. Market the program to target Audiences.
 
Program Benefits : Stipend ,  Education award upon successful completion of service ,  Choice of Education Award or End of Service Stipend ,  Living Allowance .
