Member Duties : The VISTA will conduct outreach and partnership building with firearm and pharmaceutical providers to provide education on suicide prevention and the relationship to firearms. The VISTA will research and pursue grants that support the goals and objectives of the lethal means project and find sustainable funding for the project. The VISTA will engage a workgroup of partners to build a public awareness campaign on lethal means and promote a universal screening and lethal means counseling with medical, behavioral and human services providers. To ensure sustainability the VISTA will collect data and feedback from partners and develop a sustainability plan for the future of the project.
