ThreeSixty Journalism – Program Alumni Engagement (LitMN)
 
 
 
A program of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Thomas since 2001, ThreeSixty Journalism is an inclusive multimedia and college success program for high school students that develops the next generation of critical thinkers, leaders and storytellers. Located on the St. Thomas campus in St. Paul, ThreeSixty Journalism seeks to address the need for media that is equitable and inclusive of all voices in our community by facilitating pathways to higher education and careers in the media arts industry for underserved and underrepresented youth. This is a terrific opportunity for an eager, hard-working individual excited to engage with our multicultural students and stakeholders. You’ll work on St. Thomas’ St. Paul campus and collaborate with ThreeSixty staff, St. Thomas faculty and staff, ThreeSixty program alumni and leading media and communication professionals as you facilitate countless “lightbulb moments” for our highly engaged high school students. Priority may be given to an individual who is passionate about writing, storytelling and both traditional and emerging media. We promise a hands-on experience that will engage and enrich you personally and professionally. *Position is part of the Literacy Leadership VISTA program of Literacy Minnesota. Member Duties : The VISTA’s priority is to create and develop a new team model for engaging program alumni, media professionals and beyond. The VISTA’s charge is to create and develop an effective, efficient and sustainable program model, including training, that focuses on program alumni, drives ThreeSixty’s 2020-21 capacity expansion and fosters sustainability. The VISTA will work with staff and volunteers to develop our best-in-class year-round multimedia programming experience. Priority may be given to an individual who is passionate about writing, storytelling and both traditional and emerging media. We promise a hands-on experience that will engage and enrich you personally and professionally. Benefits include: career training opportunities through University of St Thomas, free lunch during summer camp and programming days.
