| Member Duties : The Summer Associate will alleviate poverty in Austin by serving with the Community Youth Development (CYD) Program in the Austin Public Health department. The associate will assist the CYD Program in providing services to at-risk youth in the 78744 zip code through summer enrichment activities, in addition to improving services by developing a community assessment.
They will also assist with coordination and implementation of the Summer Sports Camp for June and July, an opportunity for low-income youth to participate in a free summer camp in Dove Springs, and they will work with the youth to put on Summer Leadership Days to be hosted by the
Community Youth Development program.
