Health Promotion and Wellness Capacity Builder VISTA
 
 
 
This position will help to build the Health Promotion and Wellness Program’s capacity to serve economically disadvantaged students at Kennesaw State University as poverty has been documented to increase the chances of poor health. Furthermore, this position will empower lifelong health and well-being at Kennesaw State University through the assessment, evaluation, and implementation ofpolicies, programs, and services.

Member Duties : To grow and sustain the Healthy KSU initiative, VISTA member will develop financial and in-kind resources; Identify and prioritize primary health concerns and gaps in service among students, with a focus on economically disadvantaged students, to increase academic success, productivity, retention, and life-long learning; Promote quality of life, healthy development, and positive health behaviors.
