PHMC Health Network VISTA
 
 
 
In close collaboration with the SHS Quality Manager, the Health Network VISTA will work on a new initiative to reassess and strengthen the structure of Health Network staff training, beginning with orientation. This initiative would focus on assessing existing Health Network trainings, developing an improved orientation training structure, and identifying a sustainable plan for how this improved training structure can be expanded to all staff for their continuous training needs. The Health Network VISTA will work creatively with interdisciplinary teams of staff to improve the services provided to patients and staff. They will utilize the Network’s electronic medical record to help ensure quantitative as well as qualitative evaluation. The Health Network VISTA will also be responsible for creating resources and materials for future scalability of these programs to ultimately all Health Network sites.

Member Duties : 1. Analyze and support the improvement of initiative work flows 2. Articulate program successes and develop a narrative around the specific resources needed to support program expansion 3. Identify and develop additional community partnerships to better meet the social and community needs of the patient population 4. Assist the Quality Manager and other cross-sector staff with the creation and implementation of an expanded HIV/PrEP initiative 5. Survey staff and conduct a gap analysis of how the existing HIV and PrEP initiative could be improved 6. Identify areas to further support community and patient education about HIV and the use of PrEP as prevention 7. Formulate a needs assessment of existing staff trainings 8. Conduct on-site interviews with staff and management to identify additional trainings that may be needed
