| Member Duties : SEEDS Summer Associates will further address challenges of food insecurity by helping the Traverse City Farmers Market to provide customers and families with food assistance programs. Activities include:
-Informing community members of food assistance programs.
-Work with SEEDS resident farmers to assist in growing fresh fruit and vegetables to distribute to local food banks.
-Coordinate with local partners to increase donations of fresh fruit and vegetables
-Engage youth and young people enrolled in green-collar work force in academic and social-emotional learning
