21-22 El Centro Business Opp. Center Assistant
El Centro de la Raza is a voice and a hub for Seattle and Martin Luther King, Jr. County’s Latino community as we advocate on behalf of our people and work to achieve social justice. Through our comprehensive programs and services, we empower members of the Latino community as fully participating members of society. We also work to raise awareness with the general public, and government, business and civic leaders about the needs of the Chicano/Latino community in the United States. Responding to client interest and demand, El Centro de La Raza’s Business Opportunity Center was opened in 2016, providing small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with supportive workshops, counseling in business development, credit counseling and access to resources including business operation space, micro-vending carts, and a commercial kitchen. Provides assistance to the Business Opportunity Center (BOC) Coordinator and BOC Specialist and works on special projects as assigned. This position is contingent on funding.
