Project REBUILD, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth development program in Stark County, OH. Since 1999, Project REBUILD has been re-engaging young people ages 16-24 through hands-on training in construction and customer service, pathways to earning a high school diploma, and personal and professional development. As an affiliate of the YouthBuild USA network since 2002, the core components of Education, Vocational Training, Counseling and Case Management, Leadership Development, and Graduate Success are incorporated into every aspect of our program. Young people in our program learn the importance of helping each other and becoming involved in their communities. Project REBUILD's long-term vision is to transform young people's lives through education, job training, and personal growth and development that they may become catalysts for positive change in their communities.

Member Duties : This VISTA position will create the foundations of a state coalition and develop an organizational policy manual. First, the state coalition project will inform YouthBuild programs in Ohio about the opportunity and benefits of a state coalition. The VISTA would then establish systems and processes to serve as a foundation for a state coalition. Secondly, the VISTA would evaluate current program procedures and policies, identify gaps and opportunities, and then establish an updated program manual.
