Member Duties : Wrap Around Services (WAS) at the School District of University City (SDUC) enters the 4th year of a 4-year grant in the fall. We look to build capacity through program evaluation and the development of a plan for long-term sustainability. As a result, 3,200 students and staff members will receive continued access to high quality instruction related to social-emotional learning, increased access to external providers, and improved alignment between initiatives within the district. SDUC serves a high poverty population, and developing a framework for continued WAS will ensure that students retain access to supports that promote positive social, emotional, and educational outcomes that help combat risks associated with growing up in poverty.
