CYS Youth In Service 20-21

Our team of AmeriCorps members draw from their strengths to build resilience in youth and families, through strengthening intercultural skills, creating increased opportunities for students to improve academically and socially, providing direct service to children and families that promote safe, healthy and sustainable living. Members serve in positions as tutors, mentors, program assistants and volunteer coordinator at local schools and youth-serving social service agencies. While members serve at different placement sites, teamwork is highly valued. Members meet twice monthly for professional development, equity training, planning service projects and support. We look for members who are ready to serve their communities through strengthening leadership skills while supporting children, youth, and families. Please visit our website to learn more about Youth in Service, including available positions with detailed descriptions: www.communityyouthservices.org/programs/americorpsyouth- in-service/
