ShareCorps- Broad Street Presbyterian Church- Summer Food

Broad Street Presbyterian Church is a non-profit organization comprised of three core ministries that serves children and families in the areas of the prevention of food insecurity, promotion of education development, and prevention of homelessness. All our efforts are to stand with our neighbors to respectfully help our neighbors help themselves. Through our food pantry, a homelessness prevention program, and afterschool tutoring program, we faithfully seek to find more ways to change our lives and to care for our neighbors throughout the world. We also try to speak through advocacy programs, confronting injustices that prevent so many from thriving in the life they have been given. Our programs, Broad Street Achievement and Broad Street Food Pantry help families enjoy access to resources for healthy choices in food, financial literacy, and education. We provide food pantry, out-of-school enrichment, and homelessness prevention services to those we serve. The focus of the summer program is to help families and their children achieve positive success in making healthy life choices through interactive programmatic activities.
