Recovery Oriented Systems of Care Coordinator
 
 
 
a. Our Board is located in Akron, the county seat of Summit County, Ohio. We are responsible for planning, funding, monitoring and evaluating prevention, treatment and support services for all residents of Summit County who may be impacted by substance use disorders and/or mental illness. We are in the process of assessing the programs and services we fund to identify any gaps and/or opportunities to ensure the residents of Summit County have reasonable access to the behavioral health resources they need. You will pick up on phase three of this project, which will include implementing the recommendations made a as a result of the local assessment. In Summit County, we want to ensure that we offer a coordinated network of community-based services and supports that are family and person-centered and build on the strengths and resilience of those accessing our system. Your work will be a part of a coordinated response to community feedback to help ensure a healthy Summit County.

Member Duties : The ROSC Coordinator will develop and implement recommendations as they pertain to the local ROSC (Recovery Oriented System of Care) to ensure local residents have access to networks of formal and informal services to sustain long-term recovery for individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder and mental illness. The position includes: attending community meetings with various stakeholders, compiling and sharing information with partners; represent agency at community events, distribute relevant materials and discuss resources for those in need; work with Community Relations Department to ensure continuity of content and language in all mediums managed by the ADM Board, to include print and digital communications.
