ShareCorps- Lorain Public Library System

The Main Library and South Lorain branches in Lorain and the Domonkas Branch in Sheffield Lake provide Summer Food Service programs for children as well as year-round educational programs for families and adults wanting to incorporate healthy eating habits into their daily lives. The Main Library is creating a demonstration kitchen to expand programming, while branches are getting mobile kitchens called Charlie Carts to expand their offerings. In addition, the library partners with local organizations such as the City Fresh farm share program and Second Harvest Food Bank to provide fresh food options for families in the service area.
