Youth in Action AmeriCorps
Members serve the citizens of northern Arizona and help extend the reach of a variety of public and nonprofit organizations in the fields of education, tutoring/mentoring, economic opportunity, and community impact. 900 hour positions are available at 15 sites, and as the program operates under the umbrella of Northern Arizona University, these service opportunities will often be accepted as internships in a wide array of disciplines. Youth in Action AmeriCorps members develop invaluable professional skills and real-world work experiences even as they contribute to a more vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community. We seek to strengthen our community through our own and our members' commitment to fully-engaged citizenship.
