Stewards VISTA: CL - Appalachian Conservation Corps
Conservation Legacy’s Appalachian Conservation Corps (ACC) strives to cultivate a new generation of local land stewards. ACC works to connect youth and young adults to critical conservation service work across Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and beyond. To do so, we partner with public land managers to identify, plan and complete projects that improve public access, habitat quality and economic development. In the field, ACC’s AmeriCorps crew members build job skills, develop leadership experience, and earn a stipend and education award that can help them move forward toward their personal goals.
