Summer Intensive Change Specialist
 
 
 
The primary objective of the The Summer Intensive Change Specialist is to serve survivors of sexual and domestic violence and promote healthy relationships in our community. This service includes attending domestic violence trainings; delivery of an evidence-based, survivor-focused safety planning intervention; and supporting staff and residents in social service agencies. The AmeriCorps member will work closely with faculty and staff of Arizona State University. The AmeriCorps member is expected to develop and sustain positive relationships with community partners. Community fieldwork will require regular documentation and supervision; members will be asked to submit online timecards every 2 weeks. The Summer Intensive Change Specialist will complete 450 hours prior to August 30, 2020

Member Duties : The Summer Intensive Change Specialist will work in partnership with ASU Faculty and Staff to increase knowledge and awareness surrounding issues of Gender Based Violence. The Specialist must have a min. of a Bachelor's Degree and be able to commit to an intensive schedule throughout the summer months.
