Plano Community Home (PCH) provides affordable housing with supportive services for the elderly, disabled and veterans. The essential human need for shelter lasts a lifetime and is difficult to maintain when an individual’s income is limited. Because we value people, we are committed to responding to this reality with affordable housing for low-income older adults and persons with limited mobility. We also make available transportation, educational opportunities and social outlets allowing residents to manage their lives more independently and stay actively engaged in their community. PCH continues to be the leading provider of service-enriched affordable housing in our communities in Plano and Denton. We respond to the changing needs of our target population by bringing innovative programs and services which enhance their quality of life. The Social Media Marketing VISTA will build capacity by creating cohesive brand management and developing social media platforms to increase community awareness and support, thus increasing financial and volunteer support. Member Duties : The Social Media Marketing VISTA will build capacity by creating cohesive brand management and developing social media platforms to increase community awareness and support, thus increasing financial and volunteer support. Major duties include: •Increase awareness through the development of social media marketing and website engagement •Create a solid branding message that is reflected across marketing materials, social media content and shared by employees •Utilize events as promotional and partnership opportunities by recruiting local businesses and developing new partnerships.
