Global Green Marketing & International Relations VISTAs
 
 
 
Global Green is a 25-year-old nonprofit with a mission to foster a global value shift toward a sustainable and secure future to help people, places, and planet. Global Green is the U.S. affiliate of Green Cross International (GCI), founded by Mikhail Gorbachev in 1994. Since its founding, Global Green has focused primarily on the United States, utilizing policy and programs to promote a more sustainable environment, in particular for the most vulnerable populations who often bear the brunt of pollution and the negative impacts of a changing climate. As the planet becomes more at risk from global warming and the careless handling of its natural resources, it is essential that humans work as a global family to reverse and mitigate these threats. As Global Green and the member nations of GCI begin to work more closely, assistance is needed with rebranding and educating the public about the new global approach.

Member Duties : The AmeriCorps members assigned to work on marketing and merging of the national and international programs will work with the Director of Programs and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to 1) manage media, marketing and website reconstruction; and 2) research and strategize the integration of Green Cross International (GCI) and Global Green's national programs utilizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
