CRC VISTA Leader

Nonprofit organizations play an important role in improving the quality of life in Colorado. Through CRC’s statewide programming, VISTA members will gain a broad understanding of Colorado’s nonprofit sector and the state’s many unique rural communities. VISTAs will work closely with rural and statewide nonprofits who offer an array of services from addressing basic human needs to environmental sustainability. VISTAs will provide resources, services and collaborative opportunities for rural nonprofit organizations and conduct outreach to community stakeholders and potential funders to increase the viability of nonprofit efforts. VISTAs will learn about regional specific issues and needs, as well as how to successfully address regional issues by assisting local nonprofit organizations. The CRC VISTA program creates a lasting, positive impact in rural Colorado communities by supporting organizations that address basic needs, transitional housing and poverty alleviation.
