Envirolution Development Coordinator
 
 
 
The Envirolution Development Coordinator VISTA will be an essential member of the team for this growing nonprofit organization. This person will help to build capacity and implement a sustainable fundraising plan to support Envirolution programs. Collaborating closely with the Co-Executive Director(s), Board Chair and other VISTA members, this person will create new and expand current fundraising opportunities to support programming. Envirolution is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and scaling dynamic K-12 education, youth leadership development, and community outreach programs centered around energy efficiency, sustainability, and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) development with a special focus on under-represented groups in STEAM, including women, minorities, and low socio-economic populations. Established in 2007 and based in Reno, Nevada. Envirolution’s mission is to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders and community members who will drive the growth of a sustainable economy. With a focus on hands-on service learning, our programs not only provide development for students of all socio-economic backgrounds, but also enable participants to give back to their communities. Envirolution seeks to promote global change by championing local efforts that empower citizens to achieve positive, meaningful accomplishments and to make a good living while giving back to the social and environmental communities.

Member Duties : Assess The Envirolution Inc.’s current fundraising methods and needs; Update fundraising materials and appeal letters to reflect current programs, goals, and needs; Create a fundraising development plan for The Envirolution Inc.’s programs and events; Use Envirolution Inc.'s new customer management database to track grants, major gifts, and member donations; Research and participate in grant writing activities to help ensure funding of programs and events; Create and improve fundraising standard operating procedures; Update and maintain prospect list for potential sources of funding; Research and implement best practices for The Envirolution Inc.’s grant reporting and donor relations; Design and implement The Envirolution Inc.’s yearly fundraising campaign.
