UAB Media Fellow
 
 
 
The UAB Media Fellow will promote the Office of Service Learning and Undergraduate Research and its programming throughout UAB and the Birmingham metro area. This work will assist in increasing UAB student and faculty involvement in education, health, and economic opportunity initiatives in collaboration with community-based organizations and K-12 schools.

Member Duties : The UAB Media Fellow will create a media plan at the beginning of their term to cover all events within their service year. They will create digital promotional materials for social media sites including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. The fellow will be responsible for managing and all social media outlets and create a posting schedule. They will provide digital support to UAB faculty, staff, or student organizations that want to create promotional materials for community outreach activities. The Media Fellow will also manage, schedule, and create content for a bi-weekly newsletter.
