Tri Cycle Farms Education Coordinator
 
 
 
Tri Cycle Farms’ mission is to grow community through soil as we steward food awareness, education and empowerment. We envision a world with food security, sovereignty and sustainability for all. In November, we will be hiring our first full-time paid employee. This is the first step toward creating multiple living wage jobs in this organization to help reach our goals of educating and empowering our community to make the fundamental changes needed to support our neighbors and alleviate food insecurity. This VISTA project will allow us to take those necessary strides toward a financially sustainable future, and increased capacity for our organization. Our ultimate goals involve a business plan that encompasses more educational outreach, a primary goal for this coming year.

Member Duties : Define, fine-tune and focus educational information on food insecurity, healthy futures and environmental sustainability. Maintain education as a primary goal for Tri Cycle Farms. Create impactful long-term solutions for fighting food insecurity through teaching community members awareness and self-sufficiency in relation with food.
