The John W. Clem recovery house provides a safe and drug/alcohol free living environment for up to twelve men over the age of 18. The Clem House is based in the 12 steps and all residents are to participate in multiple meetings every week. The Clem House is a nonprofit organization. Our AmeriCorps VISTA member will assist partner organizations in accessing and utilizing the Ohio Recovery Housing Outcomes Tools. They will assist our organization in grant writing and fundraising, while establishing and maintaining relationships with key community partners.

Member Duties : The AmeriCorp VISTA member will help collect information for the outcomes survey and monitor timelines for when each survey should be completed. The VISTA member will locate, write, and apply for grants that would help with the overall operations at the Clem House. The VISTA member will work with the Executive Director and the Clem House board to host fundraisers that can take place yearly.
