Benefits Hub Associate VISTA, UWKC

**To be eligible for this position, candidates must commit to serve full-time for one year with United Way.*** United Way of King County’s mission is to bring caring people together to give, volunteer, and take action to help people in need and solve our community’s toughest challenges. The VISTA will serve along with 11 Benefits Hub members across community colleges and technical colleges in King County to connect low-income students to the resources they need to attain credentials, obtain good jobs, and achieve financial stability.

Member Duties : United Way of King County is a local leader in developing and funding innovative anti-poverty programs to lift 50,000 people out of poverty. Join United Way to ensure low income community college and technical college students meet their basic needs so that they can persist and complete their degree. The Benefits Hub Associate will fight poverty by developing partnerships, leading strong referrals on campus, planning and implementing a yearlong outreach strategy, convening quarterly steering committee meetings and engaging volunteers on campus in opportunities to help increase financial stability for college students.
