Member Duties : United Way of King County is a local leader in developing and funding innovative anti-poverty programs to help people in need and solving our community’s toughest challenges. Join United Way to ensure low-income children living in poverty have access to school breakfast and nutritious means where they live, learn and play by building capacity for schools and communities. The VISTA will build capacity by increasing low-income students access to school breakfast by enhancing the Breakfast After the Bell technical assistance tools that can be used statewide, consult with schools in key regions to troubleshoot challenges in implementation, support schools in implementing alternative breakfast models during COVID-19, and raise awareness of the Community Eligibility Provision to eligible schools.
