Arizona Serve - Kind Defined Program Specialist

Kind Defined was established with a single purpose, to make this world a better place one act of kindness at a time. Their goal is to create citizens that actively seek to have a positive impact on their community and sphere of influence. The positive impact that the Kind Defined community may have might not seem world changing from the outside looking in, but these small acts of kindness make a world of difference to the recipient. They believe in the “ripple effect” and seek to give young children, through the administration and participation of summer camps, the skills to go out into their communities and see and create ways to bring kindness. The AmeriCorps state member will develop in person and online curriculum to support Kind Defined. This is to assure that the nonprofits activities not only achieve their intended goals, but also create a sense of community amongst participants throughout the events planned during the year. The member will create assessment tools to determine the quality of the agencies programming and create a social media presence or safe space, designed for, posted to, and by the participants.
