EOC Neighborhood Legal Services: Homeless Task Force

Located in downtown Buffalo, The Service Collaborative is seeking AmeriCorps members to join the Economic Opportunity Corps (EOC). EOC AmeriCorps are placed in local nonprofits and provide the community with essential financial literacy, financial wellness, and programmatic support. For this AmeriCorps opportunity, financial literacy service encompasses a variety of issue areas including but not limited to coaching & tutoring, legal, housing, and public benefits supports, financial aid assistance, managing community programs, outreach, and other program aligned direct service. EOC service is tailored to the specific host-site and the population served by the organization. All EOC members should anticipate providing a combination of financial education, client management, program implementation/design, and service projects. EOC members are not required to have prior financial or human services experience. What we look for is a willingness and attitude to commit yourself to a term of service. We want individuals who are thoughtful, kind, hardworking, and have a passion for creating positive change. Please note that COVID-19 continues to have an impact on some of our programming. EOC AmeriCorps member safety remains our top priority and we look forward to working with each applicant to ensure a healthy and successful service term.
