Making Community Connections Charter School Outreach VISTA
Making Community Connections Charter School (MC2)’s Manchester supports grade 6-12 learners who are seeking a responsive learning environment to help them grow into their potential. In June, 2019, 70% of MC2 Manchester’s learner population qualified for free or reduced lunch. In the 2018-19 school year, 7% of MC2 learners experienced homelessness. MC2’s mission, stated in the first person because we are a learning community, is to “Empower me with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to use my unique voice effectively and with integrity in co-creating our public, global world.” MC2’s diverse learners have myriad aspirations and passions which deserve to be supported in every way possible.
