GRANT WRITING VISTA
 
 
 
United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties fights for the education, health, and financial stability of every person in every community we serve. As an AmeriCorps VISTA, you will join a team-orientated office working throughout Lake and Sumter Counties under the supervision of the Resource Development Director. In your role as Grant Writing VISTA, you will help support United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties’ efforts to increase our financial capacity of services we are able to provide our community. Your VISTA service will also be instrumental in building relationships with our community partners, nonprofit agencies, government, and corporations, donors, and helping understand the impact nonprofits can have economically for our community. Together, we will make a meaningful, measurable and lasting difference in the lives of people by creating a culture that encourages hope for a stronger future in our communities.

Member Duties : Support United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties’ efforts to increase our financial capacity of services we are able to provide our community through grant development and identification of financial opportunities that support our current & future program goals.
